Cooling off period for estate agency contract

If my estate agent signed a new contract which changed the pervious contract terms i.e. agency fee and house price. Does this new contract supercede the first contract? and if I invoke the 14 day cooling off period would i legally be free of both contracts given the 2nd one supeceeds the first one?
